Hope for Kids Motorcycle Ride Jump Starts Funding

The first Hope for Kids Motorcycle Ride sponsored by IEBA introduced The Shalom Foundation to a new group of supporters.  The ride began at the Hilton Nashville Downtown, the site of the International Entertainment Buyers Association Conference and ended at the historic Oaklawn Plantation in Spring Hill.

"We are so pleased to support The Shalom Foundation," said Ride Chairman Rod Essig, CAA.  "I want to help raise funds to sponsor education for children, to help build the Shalom Surgery Center and safe, clean homes for families living without."

Many leaders from the music industry joined the ride and have committed to making the annual event a lasting success.  "It feels great to take a small group of riders and build a lasting event that can benefit hundreds of children and their families.  At APA we are proud to be part of making that happen," said ride producer Steve Lassiter, Agency for the Performing Arts.

Thanks to: IEBA, HoneyBaked Ham, Avenue Bank, Daily's Convenience Stores, Loveless Café, the Hilton Downtown Nashville, and Oaklawn Plantation, CAA, APA and all ride leaders and participants.
